Lazarus Benjamin: Egypt

My name is Lazarus Benjamin and my wife is Samia. I am the founder of Mediterranean Baptist Mission. We were born in Egypt and our Great God saved our souls, God put in our hearts to work with Him among the Middle East Nations to bring the lost souls to The Kingdom of God, however they are 90% Muslims. God used us to reach those people because we know their language and their culture; that is why God raised us and called us to this ministry and by God’s grace we can say “The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” For over 60 years, God used us to plant 83 Baptist Churches in Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Kenya, Kuwait, Sudan, Antioch- Turkey, and Iraq.

God used us and He is opening a great door for us to go and reach more nations for His glory, and we desire your prayer.

Daniel & Jennifer Olachea: Bible Translation, Uganda

Dan Olachea and his family served as missionaries in Uganda, Africa for six years developing a Bible translation team among the national Christians and pastors. They transitioned back to the States where they joined WorldView ministries in May 2012. Through WorldView Ministries, they are continuing to facilitate and oversee the Runyankore/Rukiga translation in Uganda. Dan Olachea is also teaching Bible translation students in Southeast Asia through the WorldView Institute of India. This is a two-year masters level Bible translation program designed to produce trained Bible translation team members/leaders. WorldView is continuing to pursue other Bible translation projects focusing especially in the 10/40 window and the many unreached people groups there. Lord willing, Dan Olachea will be able to help in the development, facilitation, and oversight of these projects.
